This week Fredia and Jena sit down with, Adrian Octavius Walker, world renowned photographer and mixed media artist. St. Louis born and bred, Adrian walks us through the days following the death of Mike Brown and how that day lead to the self-publishing of his book "My Lens, Our Ferguson." A documentation of the Ferguson protests, My Lens, Our Ferguson later went on to be shortlisted for the Paris Photo-Aperture First PhotoBook award. As a new husband and father Adrian shares his perspective on committed relationships, working against the white male gaze, and how he inspires and uplift the communities he's apart of. Join this intimate conversation on how black women have changed Walker's life, and inspired the founding of "Black Women over Breathing," a cultural movement of it's own.
